At flightunit, we ignite leadership through transformative workshops and programs that empower students, parents, educators, and professionals. Since our inception in 2010, we have been grateful for the opportunity to equip individuals with the skills, confidence, and an elevated mindset to lead with impact—whether it’s inspiring our young leaders, supporting personal development in professionals, or driving organizational change and growth. Our tailored experiences are designed to address unique needs because we understand that leadership isn’t one-size-fits-all. How to create a flightunit
At flightunit, we believe that everyone has a team around them, and that there are specific introspective questions we all need to ask ourselves.
Step 1
Be sure to write down your answers:
- Who is a part of my core circle? 2) Who supports and pushes me to think critically and grow? 3) How can mutual benefit be provided in each of my relationships?
Step 2
When we look at the people around us we should use two eyes: a good eye and a bad eye. In other words, we must always acknowledge the positive and negative character traits that the people around us possess. Create a list of the character traits of people in your social circle and see if they align with who you are and who you are striving to be.
Step 3
Carefully choose the people that you want to be part of your flightunit. It is crucial to have a diverse and ambitious flightunit. The people that we surround ourselves with have the greatest influence on the direction of our lives. Furthermore, our daily conversations shape and support our life’s trajectory. Keep this in mind as you create a life changing flightunit. If you want to reach your full potential, take the time to create your flightunit all-star team (Mentor, Campanion, Doer, Connector, Realist).

The flight Power Foundation, a non-profit under the flightunit umbrella, is deeply connected to the pulse of society, understanding the diverse experiences of today. We work with students, staff, parents, guardians and professionals to stimulate and inspire growth. From social environments to social media, we’ve designed our programs to be responsive. Focused on success, we are passionate about empowering and supporting today’ leaders, ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.
