As the holiday season draws near, there are many things that we all should be mindful of, including diversity. Although Christmas is the most publicized holiday, several nationalities celebrate different holidays during this time of the year. Holidays are a special time that can bring people closer together; they promote warmth and the importance of thinking about others.

This holiday season will be unlike the previous two as covid is no longer a reason for keeping us apart from our loved ones. That said, what will you be doing to try to reunite your family and friends to re-strengthen those ties? Although, over the past 2 years, we have learned to communicate virtually, which has made our world a smaller place. That said, there is nothing like being near to others & being able to experience the power of touch, taste, smell, sight & sound.

Although the media loves to glorify the difference between us, we as people have to recognize that there is a lot more in common than we would like to acknowledge. Therefore, this holiday season, I encourage you to focus on how you can bring our commonalities to life. Learning about different people is a great way to understand how amazing our world truly is. Learning about new traditions may make you rethink how you celebrate and the importance of having loved ones around you. This holiday season be a difference maker; we all need to be around positive people and energy, it takes nothing to open minded and to spread kindness that will unite our communities. On that note on behalf of flightunit we would like to wish you and all of your loved ones a kind, peaceful and delightful holiday season.
